ABOUT ME

The beginning
Born on the 10th of July in Eastern Bohemia as the second child of my parents. Named after the original surname of my mother.  Raised in a very small and isolated village near Chrudim.

The past
At the very young age I used to play outside with my peers all day long. As the years went by I figured something out - whatever the majority of people was doing, I found myself doing the exact opposite. When my friends were smoking pot, I was working out. When they were learning for school, I was working out. My mother, for obvious reasons, did not appreciate this reluctance to learn for school very much. The consequence of my idiosyncratic conduct was that she signed me up later to the Elementary athletic school in Chrudim. I consider this step to this day as the breaking point of my life. I did not want to be an athlete at first because all I had ever known was european football. My boundaries of interest got pushed so quickly that I eventually changed my mind in the process. I won multiple various track & field championships in 60 meters and 150 meters dash. Afterwards I graduated from the Secondary school of management and business in Chrudim and shortly before that time I had become a member of the Czech national american football team within one year. Being a part of that team was not financially manageable, rather expensive and the risk of injury was way too high. I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth and I did no longer wish to put my body at risk for the sake of entertainment.  These are just a few examples why I have decided to quit my beloved sport in the Czech Republic. Now I am a sophomore studying philology at the University of Pardubice.

The Future
As far as the future is concerned, I have always been a firm believer in everything that I need is not pertaining to the future but the present. In my case, what the future may bring changes a mile a minute and therefore I'm not able to predict what's to come. And that is the part I like about the life probably the most. The unpredictability full of surprises.

But as almost every reasonable person, even I have lifetime goals and I truly believe that I have been doing my part so far. Many of us tend to chew up the scenery and be the center of attention hand in hand with fame, fortune and limelight. People with these bright expectations come a dime a dozen. My all-time goals differ completely because I don't care about these things at all. Of course I will try to seize up every opportunity I get but the greatest achievement I could attain is to be the best person I can be, to maximize my potential. To put it all in a nutshell, the intangibles are a lot more important than money and wide recognition to me.

I should always pursue an advanced degree and turn my potential into reality, no matter what the circumstances are. That was instilled in me early on.
